Each year onApril 22, more than a billion people celebrate Earth Dayto protect the planet from things like pollution and deforestation. Earth day is a day dedicated to raising environmental awareness. It started in the 1960s, dedicated to nature and everything to do with protecting the natural environment.
为保护地球免受污染和森林砍伐等自然破坏，每年的4月22日，全球有超过10亿人庆祝地球日。该节日始于20世纪60年代，致力于提高人们的环境意识并呼吁大家关注环境自然保护。

Earth Day in Kindergarten
We reflected on the little changes we can do to protect our environment. Our students showed initiative by picking up the trash they found on the playground and throwing it in the trash bin and recycling different materials. We learned about deforestation and what would happen if all the trees were cut down. To show support for the planet and make it a greener place, we planted our very own SK1 tree!
为保护自然环境，我们的小朋友思考了力所能及的改变，比如：主动捡起在操场上发现的垃圾并将其扔进垃圾桶。在了解到森林砍伐的情况后，为表示我们对地球的保护，大班的小朋友在校园里种下了他们自己的树。
Earth Day in ElementarySchool
Led by Mr. Eoin, our grade 3 teacher, the whole of CISK elementary school went out to clean up a wildlife sanctuary and help to improve our environment.
